The git4G toolkit integrates the widely distributed version management program “Git” directly into the LabVIEW™ development environment. As a result, users can call up all the Git functions directly from Project Explorer, which hugely reduces application development times. Simple operability, options for offline usage, via remote repository or completely without a server, as well as many popular Git online services such as GitHub or GitLab are all factors that make this toolkit particularly flexible.
Among the highlights are the ability to restore individual files or the entire project at a certain project status, the addition of tags directly when executing the Commit command or subsequently, as well as the ability to ignore certain files or data types at the click of a button.

The SP7 toolkit enables quick, easy and smooth Ethernet-based communications between LabVIEW™ and Siemens S7 PLC controllers – entirely without expensive OPC connections and without integrating complex bus systems.

Functions are available that enable efficient reading and writing of different data types: Among others, data modules, flags (DB, M) and digital and analog input and output groups (DI/DO/AI/AO) can be addressed and/or actuated. The modular toolkit can be used on all target platforms supported by LabVIEW™ for data exchange, including CompactRIO systems, and is not restricted by other master/slave systems. To help users get started, many examples relating to different scenarios in measurement and testing applications are already integrated.

With the XLR8 toolkit, Excel® files can be easily created, edited and saved in LabVIEW™ without the need to purchase a license for Microsoft Excel® or to install other software. Whether for reading reports, creating, formatting or exporting reports or for reading parameters and test results – without prior data conversion, all cell types (strings, numbers, dates, formulas), cell formatting options (font, cell color, data type) and worksheet formatting options (rows, columns, cells) are possible. Thanks to the library “NPOI 2.1”, which has been used extremely successfully for years now to process xls and xlsx files, ActiveX automation is not necessary.
